ABOUT
Kata Toth, born on February 5, 1978 in Hungary, is a self-taught painter and photographer. Although she originally trained as an economist and has worked as a financial executive for over the years, her connection to the visual arts goes back much further.
She began drawing at an early age, and explored painting and linocut techniques even before her university years, winning several national art competitions as a young artist.
In her abstract work, elements of nature, geometry, and the female form intersect in quiet dialogue.
Photography becomes a tool of observation, while painting offers space for transformation — two mediums not in opposition, but in alliance, mapping the inner world with visual clarity.
